Summary

Our client is a prestigious company based in Tamworth are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their expanding team.

Job description

You will be working 2pm – 10 pm – Monday to Friday.

 

This role offers a starting salary of £ 25,000 plus a yearly 21% -  OTE  of £ 30,250.

 

You will also be entitled to an excellent benefits package.

Duties to include:

 

Managing the daily shift deployment and performance of all resources in order to drive operational efficiencies, service excellence and productivity within the business

Ensure all company resources are available and maintained in accordance with guidelines

Drive and improve multi skill training within the team through staff performance, training and productivity reviews

Demonstrate the expected behaviours and standards of a people leader to help motivate, engage and develop the capability of our people and generate the right customer service culture for our business in line with our core values of safety, care and trust:

Health and Safety responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all staff are trained, competent and given correct instruction so that they can perform their role safely, including fire/evacuation procedures

  • All Risk Assessments are implemented, effective, reviewed and carry any required supporting information (e.g. SSOW)

  • Ensure that appropriate standards are fully supported

  • Ensure that all audits and legal standards are met to ensure compliance

  • Ensure that all property issues are known, reported and resolved

  • Ensure all housekeeping tasks are executed

Complete all staff appraisals ensuring that our people understand their role, what is expected of them and that they are measured against clearly defined targets or expectations.

Support the performance management process (discipline, attendance and grievance) as required

Additional Supervisor duties

 

 

Skills and experience required:

 

·         Previous experience in a similar role.

·         Delivery of continuous improvement

·         Performance management and coaching

 

 

Salary:

 

£ 25,000 plus bonus OTE - £ 30,250
