Job description

Hollyfield Personnel are recruiting for an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor - The role will be covering Kent / Norfolk, Sussex and Essex

Candidates must have experience in a similar role and have a full clean driving licence and live and cover the areas above

Key Responsibilities will include

Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 / HSG274 .

Producing schematic drawings, as well as producing final report documents for clients/customers to LCA and UKAS standards.

Liaising with client contacts as required.

Carrying out monthly temperature monitoring and water sampling where required.

Completing TMV servicing, shower head descales and other preventative maintenance tasks where required.

Qualifications & Experience:

Candidates will ideally have attended an approved Risk Assessment course - City & Guilds BS4 / WS8, BOHS P901, or hold Water Management Society basic and advanced risk assessment certificates.

Evidence of training and competence is essential and will be required prior to any formal job offer.

Candidates must have at least 12 months risk assessment experience as a qualified lead risk assessor on domestic water systems as a minimum.

Candidates must be computer literate and able to effectively use Microsoft office, including Visio.

Good understanding of ACoP L8, HSG274 and Water Supply (water fittings) regs 1999 is essential.

Candidates must hold a full driving license.

Other experience that would be beneficial:

Water temperature monitoring

Water sampling (Legionella, TVC and PSA)

TMV servicing

Shower head / outlet descale and disinfection

HTM 04-01 Compliant Risk Assessment

The successful candidate will be flexible and have good communication skills, both written and verbal. A good work ethic is essential, as is the discipline to be able to work unsupervised and still achieve the required daily work output. The candidate will have a conscientious mindset with a positive approach to work and able to use initiative to work effectively in any given situation.

They will also have a good working knowledge of water systems, supplies and water regulations governing these.
